This year, we enjoyed a cocktail hour and dinner, followed by a panel discussion with educators, celebrities, and other special guests moderated by CBS College Football Host & Former Texas All-American Brian Jones.

OUR STORY
PROMISE VILLAGE ACADEMY
In rural Tanzania, ending persistent poverty for the Maasai tribe depends on the power of education to transform lives and communities. We founded Promise Village Academy so children there can dream of and build a brighter future for themselves and for generations to come.

Our clear vision of providing quality education for Maasai children launched humbly—with a clean water well and dedicated volunteers. This paved the way for a flourishing campus with 8 grade levels, vibrant vegetable and fruit gardens, a poultry program, and a library and computer lab to fuel nutrition, curiosity, and literacy. Each development has enriched the students’ lives, equipping them with essential skills and resources for a healthier, brighter future.
Your generosity is vital to our ongoing commitment to providing quality education for these children. Thanks to our Principal Supporters and donations made on our website and through our charity events, our students tested in the top 9% of schools in Tanzania last year, and in the top 4% this year!

Your support also allows us to provide good nutrition so that every child grows and learns. Even though our six-year success story is nothing short of extraordinary, we are grateful for your help in the next chapter of realizing our vision.

Located in Tanzania, Africa, 90 miles south of Arusha, PVA educates over 235 students, with 3 pre-school levels through 5th grade. We provide more educational resources than any other school in rural Tanzania. Our campus includes 10 classrooms, teachers’ quarters, a 200-person dormitory, 30+ acres of farming, a 7,000+ book library/computer lab, a playground, and a deep-bore well.
Please support our Austin fundraising charity events so we can expand the school and provide additional educational, nutritional, and housing resources to PVA students!

Every winning bid helps provide education, opportunity, and the ability for children in Tanzania to fulfill their dreams.
